Kit Bashing Continued

Okay, so here’s the same model only I sawed off the “front” plating making the once front now the back of the flyer. The cage in front will serve as the cockpit and behind him will be a gunner. I will add a gun ring and appropriate goo to make it all look right. A few more mods to the bottom and rear of the gunner and all will be good.

Hi all,

Sorry it’s been a busy few days and I haven’t had time to post. Well, here’s the newest project on my table. I picked this up at Viking Hobby which Jim has blogged about already. Anyways this looked pretty cool and I could envision it flying about and hassling…er helping the players of my post apocalyptic world. As you can see the proportions are a bit off when compared to my 28mm miniature. The kit comes with a driver but he’s too big for the scale I’m working with and even so the cockpit is way to big for him. So, a few adjustments are needed…(to be continued)

Items needed

Strange things to think about…

I was watching “The Return of the King” the other day and was struck with an odd thought. All potential world liberators really need a check list to ensure success against said world conquers. Some of these items would be:

1) Magic Sword (+2 or better, affects undead/ desolidified, and armor piercing)(Light Sabers fall into this category)

2) Undead Army (reasoning: Enchanted weapons needed to hit them, they cause fear/terror, un-resistible attacks, high accuracy and damage, all in all battle winners)

3) Eagles, a must not only are they’re incredibly butch (anything that can bite the head off a Fell Beast in flight is just down right TOUGH!) and overall just plain COOL!!

4) A White Wizard, now I know Gandalf wasn’t that much of a wizard (flinging spells and such, but I gotta’ think he had some kinda’ massive AoE team wide morale buffs, not to mention a huge Commanding Presence)

5) Oh yeah and the opposing army general has to has a symanitical weakness. (ie. Can’t be killed by a man, so is done in by a woman kinda’ thing.)

I9 on City of Heroes went live is Tuesday, May 1st. I have to admit at this point it’s a bit of a snoozer for me and a bit irritating at the same time. Since I already have a full compliment of heroes (at various levels) I will benefit very little initially from this issue. I think anyone bringing up a new toon will benefit more than the established ones. I guess we’ll how things are going in a few months, but right now I9 seems like a major yawn to me. What I’d really like to see is some new power sets for the Tanker AT. At four primary powers Tankers are clearly the “red headed stepchildren” of the CoX uninverse.
